Singing with a dead-eyed, half awake, and unbothered tone, “THE SITUATION” opens with “All my friends are wondering what I’ve become”. It’s gonna take an army of loved ones to drag this man out of bed. Or maybe just a cigarette. So what’s it all about? Finding a way to be animated in the face of meaninglessness, turning Visa slogans into personal mantras, and leveraging a fleeting moment of bliss into the ride of a lifetime.
